Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming part of everyday life—but what is it, and how can you use it safely and effectively? In this practical, plain-language, lecture-centered class, participants will explore chatbots, image generators and voice assistants while learning how to ask better questions and evaluate the answers they receive. Classes will demonstrate useful applications for writing, communication, travel, hobbies, planning and creative projects. No previous experience with artificial intelligence is required. The course will also address misinformation, privacy, impersonation scams, copyright, bias and the importance of verifying significant claims.

In the latest iPhone IOS 26 update, many things have changed. In this class you will learn important (and hidden) functions of your iPhone. Learn how to download apps, move them, nest them, and delete them. Learn how to get better photos with your phone, organize your pictures, and send them in text and emails. Texting messages and using Siri will also be covered. Participants should bring their (fully charged) iPhone and know (or bring) their passcode, Apple ID and password.

- Introduction to Close-Up Photography In Person

Taking photographs of objects close-up or extremely close-up (macro photography) requires special skills. This class will teach you the difference between the two and the techniques to photograph objects close-up using your camera and lens. The instructors will demonstrate and explain how to use extension tubes with your lens and will discuss how to determine which of the three kinds of macro lenses is best for you. Students need to bring an object to use as their subject for the class, their camera with a fully charged battery, the camera lens, memory card, the camera manual, a note pad and a tripod, if they have one.

In this five-week, hands-on class, Mac users—both longtime and those switching from Windows—will learn to work more efficiently and confidently. Each session builds practical skills: Mac Basics, organizing files and folders, using Trash, Bookmarks, and Finder Preferences, backing up with Time Machine, understanding iCloud, and customizing System Settings. By the end, participants will know how to navigate, manage, and personalize their Mac so it truly works for them. This is the live version of a user’s manual for the Mac to help you learn many important and useful features.

- Making a Photo Book Using Shutterfly

In this workshop the attendees will learn how to prepare pictures for a photo book, how to transfer pictures to the Shutterfly workspace, and then organize the pictures from the front to the last page of the book. Finally, we will go through the steps to order the book and apply coupons to reduce the price. Class #1 will be learning the steps to use Shutterfly. Class #2 will be using your pictures to create your photo book. We will be using a program called Shutterfly.
