The Foreign Policy Association’s Great Decisions SIG provides information and a format for members to discuss critical global issues facing America today. Members exercise critical thinking skills and share their personal understandings of issues that are sometimes complex and controversial. We will rely primarily on the 2025 Great Decisions briefing book in covering the following four topics: 5. Ukraine & Global Security 6. Multilateral Institutions 7. U.S. Engagement of Africa 8. The Future of Human Rights. Each topic will generally be discussed over a period of two sessions, starting with a DVD presentation. This briefing book can be purchased by going to fpa.org or Coffee Tree bookstore. A Kindle version is available at this site.
